Before Dawn is an open-source screensaver application that provides various fun effects to animate computer screens. The app features a collection of effects including Holzer Truisms, Atari Attract Mode, and Emoji Starfield, among others. Before Dawn also allows users to customize the screensaver's behavior, such as disabling it when the laptop is running on battery or locking the screen after commencing. The app seamlessly integrates with the computer's taskbar, and users can access the Preferences section and enable or disable the screensaver from the taskbar menu.
