Remote access and control software called VNC allows users to connect to and control Windows, Mac, UNIX, and Linux computers without the need for centralized servers or agents due to its straightforward peer-to-peer architecture.

To control a computer remotely, download and install RealVNC on the target computer, select a license, and then download VNC Viewer on the computer you want to control from. If connecting over the Internet, network configuration may be necessary. The Android version has been updated to 3.8.0, and a bug preventing control of the remote desktop when opening the chat window has been fixed.
